LUME is a recently opened restaurant in the old city centre of Chisinau. It is another HORECA business started by Ina Vieru, who owns Delice D’Ange and Pani Pit.

LUME Neo Bistro immediately charms you with the atmosphere created by the interior design. The interior design captivates with elements that refer to our traditions, our heritage, but have been elegantly modernized and harmoniously integrated.

• The wooden furniture (tables, bar, columns, etc.) were made by the sculptor Mihai Ochișor.
• The lighting elements (“ram’s horns”, the bar area chandelier, the round clay tables and the terrace table) were made by Dumitru Solodchenko from Tor Design.
• The clay decoration, the birds, the clay lamps in the shape of a human being, the terrace chandelier were made by the craftswoman Nadia Sîrbu.
• The ceramic plates were made by Valentina Arcadie
• The concept of the restaurant’s decoration was made by Alina Moroz, Doina Munteanu and Irina Greciuhina.

The menu at LUME is captivating in its creativity, the dishes differ from the typical menu of restaurants in Chisinau which are focused on satisfying the customer and all appetites from sarmale to sushi in the same place.

This place denotes innovation through ingredients, sauces and in the combinations they make, so as each dish has a surprising element. If it’s tartar, it’ll have little balls replacing the bread. If it’s roasted vegetables on a particular type of grill that gives a tasty smell, it will be served with a special sauce. If it’s dessert, then you’ll get a brownie bathed in a creamy, grapefruit sauce.

The restaurant also has a rich offering of local wines, so as long as a visitor to LUME will manage to stay satisfied both in terms of dishes and their combination with the best local wines.
