Translated from Romanian language “Mai Dulce” means Sweet May, but also Sweeter. It was named ”The Sweetest Festival from Eastern Europe because you can taste here the sweet part of Moldovan cuisine. Born in May 2013, “Mai Dulce” was inspired by the blooming beauty of Chisinau during the month of May and driven by my passion for traditional gastronomy, especially for desserts.

Enthusiastic home cooks participate with their family recipes while thousands of people come to Chisinau’s down town to satisfy their sweet tooth. Only at “Mai Dulce” festival, you can try Învârtită with sweet beetroot, Cornișoare with rose petals confiture, delicious biscuits from Briceni, but also modern lemon meringue and cupcakes.

After a break of 4 years, the festival returns with fresh forces and lots of surprises for all sweet lovers.
