 8 apples
 3 tbsp blackcurrant jam
 2 tbsp powdered sugar
 1 tbsp cooking oil
1

First, wash and dry the apples.

2

The best apples for baking are medium-sized tart apples like Idared, Semerenko, Jonathan, etc.

3

Using a sharp knife, cut the stalk, remove the core and cut an upside-down, cone-shaped hole into the apple, but not all the way down.

4

Arrange the apples on a baking tray with the hole facing up, brush with oil and fill with blackcurrant jam.

5

Bake in a preheated oven, at a medium temperature until the apples are soft and cracks have formed.

6

Take the apples out of the oven and arrange on a platter. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar.
